No longer Met Gala and Utnapishtim

Despite his name, John has got nothing to do with the apostle John. In this sense, his existence shouldn't be seen as an inspiration caused by religion. Yes, God did create otters but it doesn't mean anything when it comes to the Met Gala this year. After all, otters are not the product of the Roman Catholic faith. And speaking of this year's Met Gala, John might as well upload some of the pics he finds... well, good.

Update:
John is going to break character for this post. The reason why being that... well, I'll explain later on. Either way, as the post has suggested, Utnapishtim is officially part of history. Yes, I know this sounds like some sort of total recall. But not this kind of total recall. I don't try to do things in an organisational manner like Zhuge Liang. I'm more into taking in things and playing with them. In this sense, I'm more of a Fa Zheng.

Note: This post was originally entitled something like Met Gala 2018 and Utnapishtim. However, there's no longer a need to pull (?) such a stunt due to the nature of this redone post.

Why am I back to being a non-John human being?

Because the reason is very simple. This past one week has been... well, a case of self-confirmation. Not so long ago, something happened at Orchard Road. First, we have this. Then we have that. I'm not about to side with either party, but let's just say this is better news than Orchard Road.

In other news, Disney brought forth more than just an argument between two major entities of the Singaporean society. More specifically the founder himself.

Now it must be stated that my knowledge of series like Berserk and Hellsing are only limited to the series wiki sites and YouTube. Be warned that the videos are NOT for the moralistic unless they want to be reminded of what's fundamentally broken with humanity.

Not to mention Crazy Rich Asians and Dolce & Gabbana SG.

The second part of this post is why I decided to total recall it. Namely, a rewrite (?) of the first chapter of A Requiem From Winter Past.
